This poor kitten, who we have named Heracles, was found in Aegiali by one of our active volunteers. Just skin and bones, Heracles was covered in parasitic worms which were literally eating him alive. And his eyes are no good, so he is blind as well. Litsa, our dedicated coordinator, removed all the worms from his face, applied a flea and tick spray, and started him on a course of antibiotics. We are happy to report that he has a good appetite and is getting much needed nourishment, giving us hope that he will survive this horrendous ordeal.
