What We Believe

Animal Zone International believes that working with the people of the target community is the best way to bring about a positive change toward stray and abandoned animals in their
environment.

In Amorgos, a local society for the protection of animals is in the process of being established. This dedicated group of people not only helps the animals with basic needs including food, water, medicine and shelter, but also coordinates lectures for the public about our project and the distribution of the books and posters (see BOOKS, below), which encourages a positive attitude toward animals.

This series of children’s books were written by Valentina Pozzo, illustrated by Ambrogio Galbiati and published by Animal Zone International.  Translation from Italian by Fivi Sokali.
