A tender moment
The cat wrapped in the towel is very, very sick. We fear he may not have much time left.
The moment I placed him on the floor so I could clean his cage, our Pokopikos—who grew up with us and now lives safely at our Center—walked straight over to him. He gently began licking him, as if trying to comfort him.
A few moments later, he wrapped his paws around him and kept grooming him with such tenderness.
Animals have an extraordinary way of reminding us what compassion, kindness, and unconditional love truly look like. They teach us more than words ever could.
