Michaela is a 32-year-old donkey who has spent her entire life working. On April 12, 2025, Michaela joined our family. We welcomed her with open arms because we believe that every animal deserves a retirement filled with dignity, soft hay, and quiet afternoons in the sun.
Michaela is an incredibly sweet and gentle soul. She no longer carries heavy loads; today, the only thing she carries is our affection. She has transitioned from a working animal to a beloved resident of our shelter, where she can finally enjoy the peace she earned over three decades.
