First confiscated in 2014 by a prosecutor's order, he was sadly returned to his owner despite our deepest concerns. Ten long years passed in the shadows, until the summer of 2025, when urgent reports from visitors revealed that nothing had changed.
A New Beginning at 12 Years Old
With his owner now 90 years old and struggling to provide care, we stepped in. Thanks to a compassionate and respectful dialogue with the owner's nephews, a heartfelt decision was finally made: Markos was entrusted to us.
Since January 5th, Markos has been part of our family. At nearly 12 years old, he has completely surprised us with his incredible energy, curiosity, and boundless appetite for life!
